This TechChat features Michael Weir, Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) Manager in Cisco's Midrange Routing Business Unit (MBRU), and Matthew Eubanks, Product Manager for Cisco ASR 1000 Series Aggregation Services Routers in the Edge Routing Business Unit. During this TechChat, Weir and Eubanks will discuss new innovations and solutions on the Cisco ASR 1000 Series routers, designed to address existing and future networking requirements.

In these chats you can engage in real time with Cisco engineers, technology experts, and your networking professional peers. Second Life events are free of charge.

Second Life software and setup are required to participate. If you are not already a Second Life participant, use the following links for technical requirements and setup instructions:
  1.   Download the Second Life Installer.
  2.   Register for a Second Life avatar account.
  3.   Make sure you can join by reviewing the system requirements documentation.
  4.   Make sure you can hear the event by having streaming media enabled.
a.   Be sure you have the "play streaming music" option turned on in your Audio Preferences (press control-P) and the latest version of Quicktime downloaded. When you are on a parcel of land that has streaming music, a small Music Control window pops up on your screen. Click the play button, and you're listening to the presentation... live!
  5.   Reach the Cisco Bandwidth Stage in Second Life.

Can't join us in world? No problem the live stream of this event will be available on February 3rd on this web page and you will also be able to login to ask questions of our speakers and to chat real time with in world attendees.
